Kinghorn, Breen & Kamlish join Podium Programme
Sammi Kinghorn London 2017 celebrates

Seven athletes, including world champions Sammi Kinghorn, Olivia Breen and Sophie Kamlish, move up to the Paralympic podium programme as part of British Athletics' plans for the 2017-18 season.

The trio are joined on the list of elite athletes by Richard Chiassaro (T54 100m, 200m, 400m & 800m), Kyron Duke (F41 shot put and javelin), Jordan Howe (T35 100m) and Isaac Towers (T34 400m and 800m).

On the Paralympic Podium Potential list, several athletes who finished in fourth place at the World Para Athletics Championships in London are selected, including Martina Barber (T20 long jump), Luke Sinnott (T42 long jump) and Zak Skinner (T13 long jump).

“On the back of the most successful World Para Athletics Championships in the modern era, and achieving our medal targets and finishing fourth in the placings table at the IAAF World Championships this summer, our World Class Programme reflects upon the criteria for medal potential as we progress through the Tokyo cycle ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020," said British Athletics Performance Director Neil Black.
