Winter Games target set

ParalympicsGB have been set a medal target of at least seven for the 2018 Winter Paralympic Games in PyeongChang.

UK Sport is aiming to for success predominantly in Para Ski and Snowboard and Wheelchair Curling, and the target would see it become the most successful ever Winter Paralympics for Britain.

ParalympicsGB's Chef de Mission Penny Briscoe said on the aim set: "Whilst this is a challenging target, there has been significant progress over this cycle for our winter sports and this has been reflected through medal success at World Championship and World Cup level.

"The team is an exciting blent of experienced athletes and debutants with significant medal potential across the sports."
