“I love a good plate of chilli, nachos with loads of cheese, and a nice lager or a good glass of wine. I’ve resisted temptation so far. Just."
Who’s your sporting idol?
“I was inspired by Lance Armstrong. He was like Lazarus coming back from the dead. I was in a similar situation a few years ago when I had pneumonia - at one point I was given just 12 hours to live! Anything after that day is a bonus, you really do appreciate it.”
