    Q&A

Do you have a party trick?
"I have a few up my sleeve actually and they're magic tricks. When I was a kid I actually studied magic for three years so I could really impress my friends. I've forgotten a lot of what I learned but I still have some excellent card tricks in my armoury and I'm a mean balloon modeller too."

What tunes get you in the mood for belting the ball around the volleyball court?
"I've not listened to music before games but I've been thinking about doing it for some time now. I want to be more motivated and inspired so if some great tunes help I'm happy to try. Before my next match I'll have some heavy beats from The Chemical Brothers or The Prodigy in my headphones."
